Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering, Yonsei University in 2008. Doctor of philosophy in Yonsei University (Prof. Young-Kook Lee`s group) in 2015, majoring in physical metallurgy. Postdoctoral fellow in Max-Planck-Institut für Eisenforschung (Prof. Dierk Raabe and Dr. Dirk Ponge`s group) as an Alexander von Humboldt fellow in 2016. Research area is focused on the Mn-bearing AHSS steels (TWIP, TRIP and lightweight steels), high-performance Ti alloys and nitriding on C steels. Specializing especially in research of medium Mn steel containing 3 to 12 wt.%Mn. Reviewers of Acta Mater., Mater. Char., Metal Mater. Int., J. Mater. Sci. Eng., Sci. Rep.
